They can't even manage to get the android app to open correctly at frst try, were ou expecting to open the car with the phone only? :lol:

I'm such a fool...and the most shocking thing is that the OS is from Google

Isn't that complicated though. This uses both bluetooth and the NFC chip in the iPhone, which is the same processor needed for Apple Pay and it does it even without the iPhone or Apple Watch being on or fully charged. That NFC chip is also in Volvo's Keytag and Keycard.

After many false starts I’ll believe it when I see it!
Still on 1.4.4.
Have no idea why it takes 3 weeks to receive an OTA update once released. Apple issue major and minor . updates to billions of devices simultaneously!
Will report back as I’m in the Apple ecosystem. In theory if the digital key is added to wallet it should work on watch, whether or not it provides proximity unlocking is another matter but anything to stop me having to carry my keycard and remember to put it on the reader inside and out every flipping time!

Same thing in Samsung phones. But...second class citizens for Volvo.

And..As I understand, It will be only the Digital Key, not the Plus. Only NFC. Not UWB yet.

Did they pull back the update? Text about 1.5.2 has disappeared on the https://www.volvocars.com/nl/support/ca ... ase-notes/ site.
