Hi everyone,
My 1.5.2 download has been stuck on 45% for a whole week now.
It’s the first time this happened. I have 5G coverage most of the time and I’ve also tried wifi. Tried resetting the infotainment with no effect, It’s just stuck there.
Anything else I can do? before heading to the dealer?
1.5.2 update
What baffles me is that the EX90 has already received (on February 10, 2025) the digital key for Android and even allows sharing the key between different platforms.
Why providing an Android digital key is so difficult for the EX30?
Are there some hardware/software limitations of the EX30 computer system?

Digital key is available for compatible Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel devices. To set up a new digital key, navigate to the owner profile in the center display, select Car Keys and Set up digital key. Then scan the QR code using your device and follow the link that appears.
You can also share a key across platforms, such as between compatible Android and Apple devices. Remember to check the compatibility of your device on the manufacturer's website and whether this feature is available in your market.

I've noticed that the key fob works a lot better now that 1.5.2 is properly installed. A number of things went wrong when we first drove it after the update, including erratic key fob behaviour, automatic handbrake not working and indicators not self-cancelling, and my wife (the main driver) said it was a bit dangerous. Then it all seemed to reset itself next day and returned to normal, and the key fob now locks & unlocks the car reliably Pity that the locking sound is unbelievable poor - do the software developers ever test their changes?

Following software update version 1.5.2 have noticed that the vehicle locking noise is very low and cannot be heard as you walk away and so have to recheck if vehicle has locked or note. This was quite loud but at least you new the vehicle had locked. Anyone know if there is a way of making the locking beep louder?
However, I do expect that we will have to wait for Volvo to include this in another software update. and if so, it would be advisable to give the driver options like
Low - Medium - High.

The instructions for the update did say it shouldn't be driven for 30 minutes after the update was completed. (I did!)Gnomeface wrote: ↑Fri Mar 28, 2025 1:54 pm I've noticed that the key fob works a lot better now that 1.5.2 is properly installed. Would this have caused the issues that were then self-repaired the next day?

They lowered the noise level in 1.5 even before 1.5.2Denmac wrote: ↑Fri Mar 28, 2025 2:15 pm Following software update version 1.5.2 have noticed that the vehicle locking noise is very low and cannot be heard as you walk away and so have to recheck if vehicle has locked or note. I was hoping it would be back louder in 1.5.2 but sadly not. At the time of 1.5 I emailed Volvo CS and they replied to advise me that prior to 1.5 owners had complained the noise was too loud for the leafy suburbs so it was lowered to a level only detectable by bats and dogs. Thankfully for me at least and other iPhone user the digital key now alerts you on the phone with a haptic and audible alert when the car locks = nice touch Volvo.

I’m only getting notifications through onto my watch. Not the phone.
