Digital key seems to be coming soon

Sorry for the confusion folks. In my calendar (Apple calendar & Outlook), there are dates and week numbers. Here, it is common to talk in week numbers. E.g. When are the school holidays? From week 30 to week 35.

Called Volvo today and guy told me "week 10" for dealer update and one or 2 weeks later OTA. Week 10 is next week!

I'm not optimistic ref the delivery of this functionality anytime soon.

My leasing company (who have been excellent in pursing this) eventually obtained this response after earlier feeble non response responses. This response was as a result of them pushing for a date/timeline given the incredibly vague earlier responses and the incorrect info we were given from the dealership last spring.

"“The update will be released in the next few software updates (unfortunately, we do not have confirmation of which at the moment). I understand the frustrations the lack of this feature is causing, however, we're not able to provide goodwill in this instance. The customer has been provided with two key cards and a key tag as standard, meaning they are able to access the vehicle with ease.”

So nothing positive here whatsoever.

Honestly, I have already abdicated waiting for the incorporation of obvious, expected, or even necessary things and I have made up my mind that what I have, is the most I will have in terms of software. So whatever comes... welcome!!!. But all without any passion. Peace of mind.
