Digital key seems to be coming soon

The fact that it’s on the EX90 would presumably indicate it’s ready to go.

Anyway the EX90 software OTA update v 1.2.6 that adds the digital key has been apparently delayed indefinitely.

Reading the Reddit r/VolvoEX90 about owners with dealer installed v. 1.2.6 it's not clear to me if the digital key is available for installation only on smartphones with UWB support: no reports till now of users with non UWB phones.

Things are moving.
Samsung Wallet (Android) now accepts Volvo keys... but the EX30 is not yet ready.

I asked the people in Frankfurt and it seems v1.6 software will get support for CarKey from Apple.

The iOS update which was published today supports wallet support. Which is required for the digital key functionality. So let’s hope it is coming soon!

Which iOS update you mean? As far as I know, the latest one is 18.3.1, which is made available 1 or 2 weeks ago

Think they mean the new Volvo ex30 app released on Apple App Store today?

V1.7.4, only obvious change is the reg number that did appear in the last update, on the top of the main screen, has now reverted to “EX30” on my setup

Multiple sources on Reddit: update v1.5.2 (with Digital Key) announcement in week 10 and available at dealer and from week 12 via OTA.
