Next Gen CarPlay

For Apple users the Next Gen CarPlay looks like it finally may be close to being rolled out. During the original announcement they did say Volvo 2024 cars were included - whether that’s still the case remains to be seen

If that indeed does pan out, I think many would forgive their initial software gaffe.

After waiting 6 months for the existing CarPlay I’m not holding my breath for the new one.
New one also seems better suited for integration into manufacturers screens (dashboard stuff) as we have just one anyone in the EX30 hard to imagine how this could work for us!
Digital car key would be nice!
This could be really good on my EV9 which has 3 separate screens (the main one taken over by CarPlay)

Yes agreed with just the one display does seem unlikely! But we can only hope lol, having all the software replaced by this would be fantastic if it ever did happen!
