I downloaded Chrome in my EX30. It said I needed to set a password in order to use it. Which I did. And now, in order to use THE CAR, I need to punch in that password. Every. Single. Time. I have uninstalled Chrome. I have tried going through the Google authentication process innumerable times, it’s just an endless cycle that solves nothing. I’m an Apple guy, never normally use Chrome, know nothing about Android, this is so frustrating!.
Someone please tell me there’s a way to delete the password requirement?
It wants a password every time I get in…

Do you mean a password or a PIN? When I collected my car I set up a PIN that had to be entered each time I used the car. This got tedious very quickly so I switched it off. I think the onboard YouTube app also required a PIN (presumably for age restricted content). I don’t recall ever having to use it for Chrome though.

My profile lock is off. So confusing.
But thanks for the response.

Sadly the “enable” profile lock button doesn’t respond to clicking at all. It says “enable” which would lead one to think it isn’t currently enabled, however it patently is.

Just for anyone following this thread, of doom, I did end up just resetting the car. It was a little scary, but everything is back to normal now.
