Didn’t you get your Volvo rose tinted specs Geoff. Thought they were standard issue?
For me I just want Volvo to deliver on the standard spec for the car we have. Not sure how they will wrap the digital key for me. Probably in two or three pointless menus before asking me to confirm I really want to get in the car.

Yeah - I largely agree. I could wish for a couple of enhancements, but if the car never got a single other update, I’d still love it and still plan to keep it for the long term

All in all, I think the car is pretty good in terms of handling, performance, etc.
What I miss and find quite annoying is a close button on the parking distance display. When I stop at traffic lights, the distance display always covers the main part of the display. I would actually like to see my map or things on the main screen.
Apple CarPlay or the Apple Map can also plan the charging strategy - and it's not bad at all. Volvo just has to release the data to Apple Carplay.

I guess you know that you can remove it by simply sliding it to the right...or left? I don't remember.

Even easier than a button as it doesn't need accurate pressing.

I agree as well.

My wife and I both love this car. More than any other we have ever owned. If something happened to it, we would order another tomorrow.

There are 3 software changes I would love to see, but they would be icing on the cake:

Programable button (or direct control screen button) to change from ACC to manual speed limiter, dipping mirrors on reverse, direct control screen button to switch on rear fog lights.

That would change it from 95% great to 100% great.

I just wish they would fix the keyfob issues. Sometimes you press the card/fob over the keyfob symbol on the door post for ages before the car unlocks and sometime it unlocks as you approach the car as it should.

Also, although my phone is connected, it's 50:50 whether my Spotify works or loads.

However, these are still minor niggles on an otherwise awesome car
