This car still has so many software or usability glitches, which vary from owner to owner, but for fear of speaking too soon, we have had absolutely no issue with the heating. Ours has been set to 23 degC, Auto, Low and the car is positively toasty within a minute or so of getting in, every morning or evening and stays that way. And together with the Auto heated steering wheel, it is the one feature that has been consistently good! In fact, I have to turn the heated steering wheel off after a few minutes as it it gets too hot for me. Wife, whose car it is, loves the heating. Which is the saving grace, as she always feels the cold. She is the type of person who turns on the heated seats on a warm and sunny day!
If the heating starts playing up, we will get rid of this car!

Hi Marky Mark
Yes and for me and my first EX30

like all my last dozen cars. CLIMATE CONTROL
Brilliant. Just set and forget.
Then it was just the occasional cold feet.
Then err what's it doing now?
Then just to keep me sorry we used to say a quick icy blast.
Then OMG it's gone bonkers
AND continues to do so. To the detriment of passengers and safety.

So now it has been recovered on a trailer to the Dealer
Cheers Andy!

Can anybody confirm that the heated steering wheel (On Auto), turns off after about 3-4 minutes. I thought when we got the car it stayed on for a while longer but on these much colder mornings, it comes on as expected but then seems to turn off (as confirmed on the screen when you go in to the climate settings) after 3 minutes or so.
I know you can turn it back on, but seeing if it then stays on for longer. My Ioniq 5 heated steering wheel stays on for 30 minutes maximum. And it messages you on the screen to say it is turning off at that time. Can turn it on again.

Yes similar. Turns on at the highest.
Then turns off soon after.
Then I put it back on low again.
Cheers Andy!

Understand that there is a software update 2024 Q4 to address heating issues. Do not know if this is bundled as a general update or one where you have to go to a dealer.

I tried to pre-heat mine today. The setting was on 26*C as this usually guarantees a realistic maximum temperature of about 17*C. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised to get a message on my app after about 15 minutes with words to the effect that the car was ready. When I got to the car, the independent thermometer was registering 11*C.

Oh mine was still minus. On a minus day. .
However on the M4 in dreadful weather and heavy rain or put the air con on.
Then 15 minutes later switched it off inside of car totally missed up and we had to get to hard shoulder quick as no vision.
Cheers Andy!

Same here, on long journeys of 1/2 hour or more and outside temp. below 10 with cabin set at 24 the temperature starts nice and warm but then just gives up and there's a feeling of cold air circulating no matter what setting you try even with a/c off. I would have thought a Swedish car would have good heating! This is really poor.
