Anyone else had the heated steering wheel come on without touching any of the heating controls? I'm on the latest update.

Yes, it always comes on automatically at about 10 degrees or less. I think it can be switched off in settings.

If you go to the climate page there is a settings icon top right. The switch for automatic mode is in there. I didn’t really see the point of a heated steering wheel but now I’ve actually used one I think it is a great idea.

I agree - a very nice feature. I'm curious to know, though, whether it is the case in all marques that the low settings mean that the heater just goes on and off at random. I think I assumed '1' would mean a low setting of warmth that was constantly on, and that '2' and '3' would mean consequtively warmer but constantly 'on.'

Yes also had instance of steering heating coming on first thing in morning. It was a cold morning but I have the setting switched off for this type of heating as I don't particularly like it. I have latest software update.
