OTA update problem

I have a problem with OTA update in my Volvo EX30.
Actual version in the car is 1.4, I received a message that the 1.4.2 is available.
But the OTA is dissabled in the car and in the app.
When I tried enable OTA in the mobile app, there is missing "switch" to do it.
Has anyone had the same problem? Can you advise how it can be solved?

Try Profile and then Privacy in the app. You can usually enable it there.
The switch you refer to seems to be missing on many people’s app.

This appears to be an Android issue. No known fix apart from connecting an iPhone instead.

Mine is showing set to automatically download but I'm still awaiting some action.

Never known the OTA to work yet.
Noticed last week it tried to download 1.4.2 but got stuck @ 92%. Since then it just says up to date with version 1.4.

Since receiving my vehicle in March, I've always had to visit dealer to get manual updates taking about 2 hours (painful!!). I have just emailed the dealer and waiting a reply

I think volvo has withdrawn that update due to your issue and a couple of others

Took car to dealer this morning 8.15sm for 1.4.2 update.
Technician reports failing to update, asked me to wait a while longer. 10.45am. Complete failure of update, and liaising with Volvo direct to try and resolve. Left vehicle and given courtesy car. Waiting update
