Update 1.4.2 released

Hi, I have an single motor extended range ex30 in cloud blue. I was running software 1.3.1 and the new upgrade to 1.4.2 started by itself, reached 91% and stopped. Not responding for 2 days. Tried connecting via wifi, no effect. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Eric

Having the very thing most people want to access greyed out just goes to prove that software designers do in fact have a sense of humour.

I think it's not a sense of humor. At least it doesn't make me laugh. I think students would make better software.

Anyone got the message in app but when you click it it doesn’t show the update.

I updated it in the car this afternoon, it said to close the windows and lock the doors and the update would take 29 minutes. About half an hour later I had a notification on the app that the update was complete.

Something new. Couldn't update before and wanted to do so today. Update is now also gone. Read on Reddit already, that more suffer from this.

Just contacted Volvo. Update has been withdrawn until further notice. Update caused other problems, which ones they would not say. To be continued.

I assume that is the end of 1.4.2 as it will not be 1.4.2 once it's been amended.

I take it that we are now expecting 1.4.3

Maybe the greyed out buttons on the welcome screen will be fixed?

It’s a bit of a fiasco isn’t it. I installed the 1.4.2 update yesterday; I haven’t driven the car but I’m beginning to wish I hadn’t bothered.

I have not noticed anything wrong with the 1.4.2 other than the obvious "welcome screen" greyed out buttons. I wonder what kind of problems exactly made them withdraw it. Obvious would be disabled welcome screen buttons but hardly a proper reason for a complete withdraw. Just fix it and call it 1.4.3.

Actually, ACC is now working as it should. ACC settings are not forgotten and ACC will always enable when I push steering wheel + button. This was my biggest misery before update. New automatic speed limit adjustment feature also seems to be working.
