Update 1.4.2 released

Does anyone know if you can get rid of the 'Shortcut' bar...This will further enhance the area for Apple Car Play. I thought I read or saw a video somewhere showing that this was possible, but I can't find the information or anything in the vehicle software.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hit a pretty annoying bug with 1.4.2 when I got home, plugged in to charge and went inside. The car was locked and charging but while trying to play some music on my computer I kept getting "Playback paused because you started playing on another device". There's only 3 devices logged in to that service ( soundcloud) : the EX30, my phone and the computer I was now trying to play music on.

I had to go to the car, unlock it and pause the music there so I can listed on my computer. I never had this happen before.

In my car with 1.4.2 installed, the maximised view looks just the same as in the photo, and just the same as it did in 1.4, 1.3.1, and 1.2.

Hi SP1959, thanks for your reply. Which Photo are you referring to. I wondered if you could optionally remove the second row of shortcut buttons when in Apple Car Play view, as I don't use them anyway.

I already tried an infotainment reset, dunno what else I could do.

I was referring to the photo that gogursl posted at 1:34pm today showing his maximised Google Maps without the icons that you have highlighted in red that the rest of us have.

It seems he hasn't got them, and wants them.

Ednr1 has got them, and doesn't want them.

I have got them, but I don't mind them.

The “maximized” view can be toggled by tapping the home icon again. It will go from a solid icon to an outline.
