Update 1.4.2 released

1.4.2 all installed and appears to be working bug free, fingers crossed....Happy to have ACP!

Update available for 5 hours in Norway, not installed yet due to low power, need charge before update.

Charged the car in the night and, the update did not install, tried to click the install / schedule button in the car, and nothing happend.. suddenly the update was gone from the car
Will see if it is downloading again.

I have similar symptoms. I click Install and nothing happens. My son, who is a programmer, is disgusted with the quality of the software in this car.

Finaly got my car updated to 1.4.2, had to reset the car twice and also had to toggle the switch for automatic download off and then on again. (iPhone) (after a quick ride the software was ready for downloading)

You posted that the welcome screen was just the quick settings screen. Yours looks like it too.

Mine is different.

Mine has no "quick setting/car status/ settings" at the top and fewer buttons at the bottom

I got mine on Sunday. First attempt was a fail because I forgot to lock the doors. Everything's fine so far. I have noticed better overal ACC settings behaviour, at least twice I have noticed that ACC lowers speed from 80 to 60 when speed sign is recognized. Apple Carplay seems to work. Waze app "not able to start while driving" is now gone.

Stupidly, you cannot disable Lane keeping aid or Driver alert via the "new" welcome screen because functionality is disabled (as you see from photo in previous post) until you change gear to D. And when you do that welcome screen automatically exits. What were they thinking?

I'm new to this forums. Actually only found these forums an hour ago. Now that the Carplay functionality has been implemented I noticed that Car Scanner ELM OBD2 app is there among the supported apps. It requires OBD2 dongle to work. I have OBDLink MX+. Any OBD2 related discussion here? Although you see some interesting stuff with that software downside is that EX30 only seem to send parameters every ~30 sec, which is ludicrously slow. Usually, with pretty much any car you get 5-20 refreshes / sec.

Having the very thing most people want to access greyed out just goes to prove that software designers do in fact have a sense of humour.

Yes, I can't understand why those two buttons were out on it just for them to be greyed out.

And the thing I wanted is not there either. I want to be able to change from the default ACC to the Sites Limiter that I use (yes, you must keep your foot on the accelerator, but it gives YOU the driving experience with minimal annoying interruptions from the car, and no errors caused by inaccurate speed data). To get it, I still have to delve into the settings menu.

After updating to 1.4.2 I noticed the media quick commands when the map is "maximized" are missing. I'm talking about the controls on the bottom left of the screen when you press the Home button again to maximize the map and hide the phone / media controls.

Now I just get a row of shortcuts.

Anyone else noticed this ?
