Not without the 20% discount I got it with. I was fighting my dealership to get my deposit back (ordered in October 2023) to instead buy a fully loaded facelifted Ioniq 5 for 52k eur compared to the 56k they were asking for an ultra twin motor. Then they announced the EU tariffs and I got an email with 20% off all EX30 stock.
I love how it looks and drives but the experience of actually using it is pretty lacking. Most of my complaints would be solved with more actual buttons / scroll wheels / etc on the steering wheel. If you put everything on one screen, the steering wheel controls are the one thing you don't skimp on. My previous Opel Mokka had 7 buttons and a rocker switch on each side compared to 4 and 5 buttons on the EX30. Not being able to answer a call from the steering wheel and take my eyes of the road and fiddle with the big screen instead of the little screen isn't really on brand for a safety selling company like Volvo.
Would you still buy it
I would absolutely still buy it. It's a great drive. I would like Apple CarPlay as soon as possible, but that's hardly a dealbreaker. I have finally said goodbye to fossil fuels.

2024 Volvo EX30 Ultra - Single Motor - Extended Range
No, I wish I had waited or bought something else (not sure what though).
For me, the beta software and poor range outweigh the enjoyment of driving the car.

I need to make a decision on a lease in the next 4 weeks. Being unable to adjust volume while driving is a dealbreaker. About CarPlay , the Volvo website iirc says CarPlay is wireless and AA is wired. Strange seeing as it’s google that it runs on.

Welcome to this forum.
My latest "topup" gave a range more than the WLTP figure. 215 miles compared to WLTP 209.4 miles

No such problems here! The only volume issues I have is that DAB is a lot quieter than FM for some reason.
It would be useful to see your source. Nowhere have I seen than "AA is wired" and Volvo have officially confirmed the USB-C sockets are all power only. No data transfer capacity.
Yes, Volvo have erroneously said the car has CarPlay and they continue to say that in places.

Tbh I can’t remember. I’ve been researching as much as possible. Looks like MY25 will have CarPlay. If I order now , which I’ve no choice , I’ve been told 5 months, if it arrives and it’s not the latest model there’s nothing I can do about it. Do you think MY24 will ever be able to run CarPlay/Android Auto?

I doubt the model year will be the issue with CarPlay. If Volvo try and pull that sort of trick there will be a lot of MY24 owners who will be slightly miffed. I know what you mean about the forum. It is definitely a bit clunky.

There will be no difference between MY24 and MY25 in terms of eventual CarPlay/Android Auto capability.
