Being unable to switch from cruise control to speed limit is an odd one. Had me thinking I was missing something but it does seem that it is one or the other unless you use the screen to switch. Not tried the voice commands though.

My last car (also a Volvo) had it. I used it on Cruise Control on the open road and Speed Limiter through towns and villages. It was great.
I really miss it on the EX30. I have tried everything (including voice commands) but can't find a way to change without delving through screen menus.

For anyone that would prefer a paper copy of the manual there is a company that prints them out. I have no idea of the quality but the reviews mention the Volvo print they ordered was very good.

Just like the speed limit sign recognition accuracy, the actual speed limiter is not very accurate. I do not know why it can't maintain the speed limit on the dot, it always seems to go 1 or 2mph above the set limit and then starts beeping for over speed. My old diesel car (BMW) can maintain the set speed limit perfectly even if you dance with the pedal and it will override only on pressing the pedal to the floor.
Also tried voice commands and it does not do anything with the drive related functions, just a random dismissal phrase to say please try again. The only thing I could get to work with voice was the climate, there may be others supported that are not drive related. Oh and the window, the car told me, 'I am unable to open your car window'. At least it knew what it was saying there.

I tried the window command and it told me to press the button myself! So rude.

Looking at their 'offer' I would say it's just a printout of what is available online. Unfortunately the online manual is sadly lacking in detail (certainly compared to the manual I got with my Leon Cupra).JPM75 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2024 10:30 am For anyone that would prefer a paper copy of the manual there is a company that prints them out. Thanks ex30nl for this review. I agree with most of your comments. From this morning I'm on 1.4 . Still need to test it more. Will do. But one thing is very bad: Waze can only be used when you are parked !

Just a small note, not too important...China (both Chinas) drives on the right. Actually saying that about the third of the population drives on the left, being true, is a truth taken with a grain of salt. Of that third, almost 95% corresponds to "great India" (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh...) which at the moment I do not believe that its adoption of electric mobility and its charging habits is a problem today. The rest of the list of countries (except the ones you mention) up to those 75...most of them are countries that no one has heard of (with all my respect for its nations and inhabitants, of course.). The 95% of EV sold were in China, Europe, USA and Canada. If you subtract sales in the UK and Ireland, probably you`ll get 90% EV sold in the world are right side driving. This is what a car manufacturer should take into account, in my opinion, of course.SP1959 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2024 10:08 am
75 countries drive on the left (with the drivers seat on the right). According to Wikipedia, thay account for about a sixth of the world's land area, a quarter of its roads, and about a third of its population. (Including the two most populous countries in the world (India and China - home of Geely), and also Australia, Cyprus, Japan, Malta, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, UK and even the US Virgin Islands.) For these people the charging flap is not on the drivers side.
## Always-on car
I agree here.

Yes, 1.4 has also been offered to our car. But after 1GB on my hotspot and only 38% done downloading i cancelled it and will wait for good Wifi coverage
Hope that we will see some improvements. Still battling with trunk not wanting to open and now also mirrors not unfolding by themselves and having to do it on the screen.
If time permits i will update the review with new findings after firmware updates so it's kept current.
No problems in full sun. It seems to keep the heat out. Sorry but it also looks gorgeous.andrewex30 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2024 8:58 am I haven't experienced all these annoyances, many have, but I find the judgment to be far too harsh. My biggest regret is the panoramic roof and the electric seats (I have the plus version). Can anyone who has a panoramic roof tell me that it is annoying with the scorching summer sun?
