Hi everyone
Just picked up our new EX30!
Excited from one side
But dissapointed with car's OS (android-auto)...
- mobile connection (5G, LTE) is not working
- some apps (Waze) are not working properly (Waze only works if you are parked)
- AppleCar is not available yet
Hope everything will be fixed soon (v1.4 is not patching this issues)

The internet connection may be a Volvo>Operator issue not a car software problem.
I haven't come across the Waze only working when parked - I'll have to test that out.
CarPlay is "early 2024" according to Volvo!

I went to the dealer this morning, to upgrade from 1.2.1 to 1.4
My biggest issue with 1.2.1 is now solved. My ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) was not available. After every start of the car, I had to go to Settings --> Driving --> Select Speed-Limit--> Select ACC again. This issue is now solved in 1.4 . I'm very happy.
But: in 1.2.1 my Waze was working (although not so good as through Apple CarPlay). But now, in 1.4, Waze is not working anymore. It says 'Not available during driving'
. What a big software-bug !!!!
I read above that gloucester has the same.
Has anybody found a solution for this ? As this is absolutely not nice.

I have not used Waze before as I have always just used the built in system as the coverage is better where we live. For those that have used it, what is the advantages over google maps? Google seems pretty impressive in the EX30.

VOLVO are having a laugh.So each update breaks various things for various owners. As well as fixing something.
My screen reboots itself often and things look different and altered and better or fixed!!
