In lieu of having no Apple CarPlay, I resorted to the BT Media app. It seems to be very basic and I can't get it to do anything like you can do with Apple CarPlay.
I wonder if anyone disagrees with this and has found a way of being able to list the media on an iPhone (by artist, album, genre, etc). All I can get it to do is play the last media that was active on my iPhone. I can jump forward/back, pause/play but pretty much nothing else. If I want to switch album or artist, I would have to pick up the phone and do it on that (which is of course illegal when driving), or ask the passenger to do it.
Have I missed something and is the BT Media app better than that and has some hidden functions somewhere?
