1.5.3 update
Do they at Volvo really think that more than 100.000 EX30 owners will take their cars to the workshops for the update?
And if 1.5.3 is not installed, will these EX30s be able to receive further OTA updates?
I want to believe that Volvo will find an OTA version of this update....

Probably it is only a small fix for minor issues, that will be included in the next OTA update.
My car never got 1.4.3 or 1.5 - it went straight from 1.4.2 to 1.5.2 and is now the same as those that got the in-between updates.

With the 40 series, it is common that an update can only be done through the dealer. If you then want the next OTA again, it has to have the one on it that didn't go via OTA. But would be helpful if Volvo would communicate better about this.kildare wrote: βWed Apr 09, 2025 8:51 pm Do they at Volvo really think that more than 100.000 EX30 owners will take their cars to the workshops for the update?![]()

Most of us didn't go and get it.
The lack of 1.4.3 didn't prevent later OTA updates.
