This morning after several attempts my 79 year old wife gained access to our EX30 after charging overnight.
The centre screen was off, blank with no message and she is not tech savvy.
She had no idea what could be done.
I guessed a screen restart using 2 wheel buttons and after 20 seconds or so it fired up.
If my wife had been remote I am not sure how she would have got home, phone is useless because I can't hear it, we would have to resort to SMS or email.
The car is 6 months old and the software continues to drive us mad, especially the profiles not storing settings.
I really don't know why updates can't make this vehicle fit-for-purpose.
I am beginning to feel it should have gone back when I first complained to the dealer.
Wife can't start the car
It happened to me when they delivered the car to me that my profile did not save the changes. I solved it by deleting the profile and configuring the profile from scratch and saving all the changes at the end and everything was fine. I hope it helps you.
Unfortunately, I can’t help but you do have my sympathy, my wife really dislikes the car but has never been unable to drive it. I think she would quite like to be locked out so she could persuade me to get rid of it.
The thing has a mind of its own and it doesn’t get better with OTA updates, it’s not the worst car I’ve ever had but it is definitely the most disappointing. And I have never lost so much money so quickly.

Would the car not "fire up"?
The screen is sometimes initially blank on mine but soon appears.
I've never had it stay blank - and I've never done a screen reset for anything else either, though the car seems to decide to do one itself sometimes as I get in.
