Volvo ex30 software

Hello all,

Took delivery of my ex30 ultra twin (vapour grey) a month ago today.

First the good bits! Its performance is unbelievable, my brain is unable to cope! You need training from Lewis Hamilton.
It looks fantastic, especially the rear. Super quiet and very comfortable. All of what’s been said on youtube etc.

What the re-viewers are unable to tell you is what it’s like to live with on a day to day basis.
The charging issue, ie 6amp reset drives me crazy at 12am in the morning when my ex30 is set to charge at the cheapest rate. Who fancies getting up to reset it to 32amp. Not me. Especially, when you happen to glance down at your phone and notice it’s only charging at 1.2kwh. Other issues include slow or no opening of the car, it’s got a mind of its own, funny because when you want it to stay open whilst unloading for example it locks you out and your waiting for it to open again! I tried leaving the fob in the car thinking it would leave the car open… no chance it just locked the car with the fob inside. Thank god I had the card to open it up again. I suggest anyone wishing to buy a ex30 wait 12 months for them to solve these software issues OR spend the extra and get the Volvo c40 it by far a better car! Good luck anyway.

I see you've seen the other topic regarding the imminent 1.3 update which reportedly covers 170-200 tweaks to the software including the charging issue.

The Key Tag issue may be down to a high battery drain in the Tag. This update should solve that.
