Yes, I hadn't thought of that. The dealerships will be the first to get MY25 for demonstrators.

I agree that the used ones do look attractive, but considering the documented issues some people have had with the EX30 I like the idea of having a Volvo dealer within striking distance (literally!)
Also, I know lots of people love the yellow one, but it’s not to my particular taste and there are lots of black ones too which I found they’re so difficult to keep clean.
I tend to look at the cost of change and tbh the trade in price is better than I anticipated so the cost is really quite reasonable.
I’d decided to go for the interest free option when I was thinking about it at 4am. 6 hours later I’m now undecided.
Help I’ve turned into my mother!

Volvo don't offer any military discount and their trade in for my Cupra ST was rather low but, as I really liked the EX30, I took the 0% Volvo finance offer and sold my car through 'WeBuyAnyCar' for a fair price.
I will say that my Volvo dealer (Vertu Volvo in Taunton) have been first class with their after sales service so the 'experience' has been a good one!!

Volvo will likely sell only EV cars from 2030, and the XC40 will probably be replaced by an EX40 EV.
It already has been, several months ago.

The XC40 hasn't been replaced. They just renamed the electric XC40 an EX40, but the XC40 is still in production.

It is basically a 6 year old model which can come with an EV or ICE powerplant and is now due replacement with a purpose designed EV-only car.

Yes, what I was meaning is that the XC40 Recharge has been replaced by the XC40.

Hi Kildare, well spotted on my deliberate typo, I did mean to type the EX40 EV!🤣

It depends on the condition of the car used. I bought a used BMW X7 with 80,000 on board. With all the services done at BMW Center. I've been driving for half a year now and I haven't had any problems.

But before I bought it I was informed and I found out more useful information that you have to consider when buying a used car from this article https://www.a1autotransport.com/5-tips- ... -used-car/.

Honestly, despite supercar pace and a supple ride, I wouldn’t buy my EX30 new or used with my own money.
As a lease via company car scheme it’s decent for tax purposes but I think there are better options now out there for the same money.
I have to say the refreshed model 3 long range has the balance of pace, refinement and range (plus supercharger capabilities baked in) that the EX30 can’t do in any guises, and had it been available would have been my go to choice again.
