I tried that, when it was safe to do so, to see what happens. At low speed if you press down on the right-hand stalk twice a warning appears on the screen saying ACC is not available, it does not activate and the car does not accelerate.SP1959 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 10:13 am This sounds like when you went to move off you have accidently activated ACC by pulling down on the right hand stalk twice for D. This will activate ACC, and as the car was doing less than 20mph the ACC defaults to 20, and the car imnediately tries to accelerate to 20. A stab on the brakes will then cancel ACC and calm is restored.

Hi Angus,
We have had a problem with the in built satnav once where there was an offset between reported and actual position. A few users have reported the same. As it has been a bit of a one off (for us) I put it down to a data handling error rather than a hardware fault with the car.
I believe the car play position is derived via your phone rather than the vehicle hardware. We have not noticed a discrepancy between the reported position on the phone and that displayed via CarPlay.

I know (may have been an earlier software version) that it happened to me several times. However, thinking back it may have been when I was coming to a stop in D with the intention of engaging R, that I engaged the ACC instead and accelerated forwards instead of reversing.Geoff wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 9:02 amI tried that, when it was safe to do so, to see what happens. However today and tried again. I could not engage the ACC while stationary - but I could at 1mph.
On 4 different occasions I moved off from stationary with very gentle accelerator pressure. As soon as the car was moving - showing a speed of 1mph - I tried to engage ACC. On each occasion the screen beeped with the message "ACC not available too slow" (or something similar), then less than a second later engaged ACC at the default 20mph and accelerated up to 20 with no help from me .
