Not sure if HeNo was directing the barbed comments (e.g. "Enjoy your Tesla and I am sure you can sell the inferior car for a good price.") at me or at "backemf", but I'll make it clear that I like the EX30 - it has a smoother ride than the Tesla Y, is easier to park, and although the software is quite different it's not too bad. In my limited testing the voice commands were understood and actioned immediately, somewhat better than the Tesla system.
My wife will be the main driver of the EX30 and it has the features she liked in her XC40 Inscription T5 (now sold); she finds the smaller size of the EX30 perfect. I'm quite happy with the Tesla, and also look forward to driving the Volvo from time to time.

Both the Tesla and the Volvo are very good cars. Both have different strengths and weaknesses. Along with all the other ev’s coming onto the market it gives the driver a fantastic choice of features and performance. Is one better than the other? That debate will go on forever but the general quality of the products cannot be denied. Remarkable technology.

Sorry for the confusion but my barbed comments (sometimes I can not help myself) where absolutely not directed to you.
And I do hope you enjoy both cars. Never drove a Tesla but I just do not fancy them.
Cheers, Henk

A lot of the features of which there are complaints about are ones I have never used or needed. Speed limiter, sign detection, lane change assist are all unnecessary features for me, an urban/suburban dweller. I do not yet need help reading speed limit signs or need intervention when entering a school zone. However, for those who have become accustomed to those features I can understand their frustration. Let's hope for rapid software improvement and implementation.
