OTA 1.4.2 installed

Yes I am in the UK.
My car had not been anywhere near a 5G reception area for over a week, so the download must have been by 4G.
I arrived home from a journey at 2330 and when I parked the car I got the message on the screen that the software update 1.4.2 was ready for installation, and that the installation would take 29 minutes.
I selected install, and left the car.
I checked the app at 0005 and saw a message that the 'preparation for install' had failed and to try again later. I immediately tried again (staying with the car this time, watching through the locked car door window). The 'preparation for install' took about 5 minutes then the screen briefly showed some coloured cog wheels and then went blank as the install started. I then left the car to do it's stuff.
I checked the app at 0045 and it was showing that 1.4.2 had installed successfully. I haven't actually looked at the car yet.
However as Samsung phone user, CarPlay is of no use to me so I am not expecting to see much difference, but if I do notice anything I will post about it.
I just wanted to let those of you who were eagerly waiting for your CarPlay update, that it was on its way at least.
I doubt know what order cars will receive the update in, but my car was handed over to me on 17 April if that is of any relevance.

For the Apple users I’ve managed to take a few screenshots
BBC Sounds seems to work instantly! Gives you access to your “my sounds”, downloads as well as the live radio
Google maps didn’t seem to show an arrival % in CarPlay? Although haven’t had time to check properly. Neither did Apple Maps. Not sure if they will plot where to charge - although may need to delve into the settings
Major League Baseball app works through CarPlay which may only entertain me, but can listen to the radio feeds of the games now!
Audible works perfectly as to the podcasts
