New Owner Questions - Lights, keyfob

Just got my SMER a few days ago, wonder if anybody can help with some questions I have.

The keyfob seems too nice and shiny to just stick a key ring through and get it scratched - I tried searching for a cover but could only find ones for other Volvos. Does anyone know of any covers/cases available?

Auto lights. When I collected the car, the auto lights were selected, and the screen showed an icon in the top left, headlight icon with an A. After playing with the other settings for the lights, I now don't get any icon showing when auto lights are selected. Is this normal?

Auto high beam. With the lights off, I can select auto high beam from the stalk, getting an icon appear on the screen. But when I turn the dipped beam on, this icon disappears, and pressing the stalk to select/deselect auto high beam does nothing. Again, is this normal?

My car had 1.3 installed by the dealer, I will post some observations in that thread.

My car has totally failed to connect to the mobile network. I managed to pair the app by connecting the car to WiFi. The app shows car data from, presumably, before I collected the car (e.g state of charge is lower than at any time I have had possession). I'm taking the car back to the dealer to resolve this issue.

I use a plastic zip tie as couldn’t get a letting through it… not very Volvo!!

I was told today after no internet for two weeks. Volvo network issue , some cars recovers some didn’t.. guess which mine was

Here are my solutions for the keys:

I found the black lanyard in a drawer so don't know from where it came originally.

The Key Cards are standard credit card sized so can be used with anything that accommodates those. I got these on eBay. I don't have Key Cards with the loan car.

Driving in foggy conditions but not bad enough to activate auto lights, do I really have to go the menu, lights, select manual, confirm on steering wheel?
It seems impossible to activate headlights when on auto using the steering column stalk.

The light sensor measures the luminance, and the luminance could be relatively high also in foggy conditions, so the headlights might not be automatically activated.
