Mine is booked in next week. Oddly enough I am still able to lock and unlock from the app and also precondition the cabin so the car has internet connection, just not to the ui.
My connection stopped after it failed a second time to download 1.4. It got stuck at 92% then the next day it reset to 0% and started again. This time getting stuck at 92% again. Since then I’ve had no internet to the screen.
I’ve also contacted Vodafone. First issue with them is figuring out the username as it wasn’t something set by me. Also when I request the username to be sent to my email I get nothing. I know they have my email linked to my account because I’ve had emails from them before saying my data plan is active.
To be honest I think it’s just and amateurish shit show from both sides and as long as they both have each other to blame they will never accept their responsibility in this mess.
Such a shame because I really love the car.

Strangely enough mine has just fixed itself. After unlocking and locking via the app internet in the car is working again. Not sure if that’s what fixed it or not but it’s working now. I’ll still take it in to get the stalled update installed

Well… I’m the same issue, no connection although with sign of carrier is full

That did the trick for me! I don't if vodafone fixed something in the background or whether this was the actual solution! Many thanks regardless.

Anyone that have the "Log on to network" option when swiping down from the top ?
if i click on that i have to wait for a long time when the display i showing a white screen, an then i got an error displaying a link with the error "net::ERR_TIMED_OUT.

if i copy the link and paste it in an ikognito fane in the Chrome Beta browser i is transferred to a website where i should login the my Volvo ID account, and then i is throwed over to Vodafone (m2mportal.id.vodafone.com/xxxx) and i then got this error "You need to have a local user associated to login to this application", and after a while the message is changing to "Something went wrong during the authentication process. Please try signing in again"

still stuck an no internet in the car.

Hola, soy de México y en el concesionario me comentaron que es un problema a nivel mundial que tiene Volvo con las EX30. Lo mismo pasa con la mía y aqui el proveedor de internet es AT&T. Al recogerla como nueva, a la semana se quedó sin internet y tuve que dejarla unas horas en el concesionario para que hicieran reseteos (varios) hasta que volvió el servicio. Eso duró un par de semanas y ahora volvió el problema. Me comentaron que es un problema de software y que la actualización que supuestamente lo resolverá, saldrá hasta Agosto.

Ese problema debe ser especifico para las apps (google maps, youtube, spotify, etc) porque lo cierto, es que mediante la aplicación de EX30, si se puede tener la ubicación del vehículo, hacer apertura remota de puertas, activar el aire acondicionado y recibir información de la carga que se haga de la batería, y si el automóvil estuviera completamente desconectado de internet, entonces no habría modo de hacerlo ni recibir esa información.

It turned out that there was another user defined to the car, the Volvo dealer has now removed the previous user and i am now waiting for the sync of the car to my Volvo ID account.
lost access to the car after Volvo did the change, hoping it will come back.

Last update to the case that solved my problem was to delete the VolvoID account and recreate it, it then solved the loss of contact with the app and the car, and also it fixed the internet setup via the Volvo EX30 app.

The unlock/lock via the app hack worked for me after 1 week of no connection😀

I retired Thursday my EX30, but i have problem to connect to internet, signal bar is full and 5G, but doesn’t go online. Any update on how to solve it?
