I keep hearing about EV battery degradation i.e, "my car is x number of years and has done x number of miles and my battery has only degraded by x %". Is there a way to actually check this in your EV or are people just giving a rough estimate based on what a full charge gives them compared to when they first purchased? If so if you were to purchase a 2nd hand EV how do you know or find its battery health?
I don't think that information is made available in any of the settings menus, but it should be possible to get that info by connecting an OBD reader up to the car.
