Would be nice if the boffins at Volvo could add selecting performance mode on the steering wheel button for the ultra twin so one press could switch to AWD performance . At the moment I have it set to turn off the speed limit alert but would forfeit that if performance mode select was available. At the moment I rarely switch to performance mode because it takes too many steps to select it so 99.9% I’m in one motor mode.

Even better would be if regenerative one pedal worked in performance mode then I would always stay in that set up, but it doesn’t, so I trade off performance and 4wd to get one pedal driving as that trumps it for me for day to day commuting.

Why only the Ultra twin?

Why not the Plus twin or the Core twin too?

The Ultra comes with options for both single motor extended range and also the twin motor extended range. Not all Ultra are 4WD. The Core and Plus come with options for standard range, single motor extended range, and also the twin motor extended range.

This is the only thing I’m actively waiting on via OTA. Really need an easier way to enable performance mode.

Agree! A useful safety feature, if you run into difficult driving conditions you don't want to stop and s9rt out the touch screen to engage AWD.
I live down a steep track so would find it useful to engage AWD for the first and last 250 m of most trips but don't bother because it's too complicated.

Yep that was a typo error by me I don’t even have an Ultra 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I really meant all twin motor EX should have a toggle switch available without having to dig for it. Ideally on the steering wheel would be a nice update.

Or just to floor it away from the lights and then back into the slightly more sedate but still punchy sgl motor mode again.

well....

what I would prefer is for the "customizable" button to be customizable. from a list, pick what you want as the pairing - AWD on/off would be one of the entries.

Also, like the EX90, it would be great if AWD was automatically on until 30Km/h.

Me too. Same applies to the buttons at the bottom of the home screen.

I don't use the car manual or the Google voice function so want them gone from the home screen and I miss the boot button as it's glaringly absent from our keys. 1.5.2 did some pretty average things to our cars that made no sense, and on my steering wheel has a bunch of buttons that are currently useless.

I would be happy if Performance AWD would be a setting that just persisted.
