Car has been dealer updated. Something about improving lock operation according to technician. Can't detect any other changes yet.

Maybe they have sorted out the Remote Locking?? Since the 1.5.2 update my remote locking no longer works

My dealer showed me their screen of available updates and this one wasn't shown.

My EX30 was also updated to 1.5.3 at the dealer yesterday. The technician mentioned improvements to the locking system and general central computer updates, but didn’t go into much detail. So far, passive entry with my iPhone works flawlessly – no need to pull the handle like I sometimes had to on 1.5.2. But it’s only day two, so we’ll see how it goes.

Again, it won't be that this update is not for right-hand drive cars either, will it?

It's available at the dealer in Perth and installed today. Fingers crossed for a more reliable locking experience. I was told that there is no firmware update for the key fob.
