Is there an Eco setting to maximise range?
The question asked by the OP is a very reasonable one. In many ways the EX30 is a delightful car, but it is woefully inefficient. I alternate between a 6-yo Tesla and a 3 month old EX30. Driving both cars in the same manner, the Tesla is at least 30% more efficient than the Volvo. An Eco mode would be very welcome, but so would greater attention to efficiency everywhere. For example, one-pedal driving could have much more aggressive regeneration. That would lead to more energy recovery and less wear on the brake pads. The Tesla decelerates firmly and smoothly, while the Volvo just drifts on and on until you dab the footbrake to avoid a collision. If you do manage to come to a complete halt without actively braking the car stops with an unpleasant jerk. In many other ways the software is just immature. I hope that most of the shortcomings can be corrected with software updates because it has the potential to be a really superb car. One thing that won't be fixed in software is the surprisingly indirect steering, but that's another story.

Hi Javman, there is a power meter of sorts next to the P and D indicator. The OPD mode in the EX30 is more for convenience than anything else as pressing the brake pedal uses regen up to the point where you need the conventional brakes.
