Hi
Newbie here, had my EX30 a week now so still getting used to things. Wondering if anyone can help? I have the EX30 Ultra and switched from RWD to AWD via the usual car settings. However when I try to switch back to RWD the option is now greyed out. I'm also using one pedal drive if that is relevant.
Switching between AWD and RWD
Hi,
I believe it needs to be in Drive to change it, in case you're trying to do it in P.
Also, the non-performance AWD mode does still go into AWD when you put you foot down, there's just more of a delay in activating the front motor, as I understand it. The One Pedal Drive also doesn't function when AWD performance mode is enabled.
Cheers,
Joe

Welcome to this forum. I was going to suggest putting in D too.

Thanks guys, will try your suggestions. I was in Parking mode when trying to change modes so will try in D mode first then try a reset. Seems weird that you need to be in D mode to manually switch. I must be in RWD mode since I am currently using One Pedal but thought I was in AWD having initially made the switch.

Thanks again. As an update, yes it was the fact that you need to be in D mode to switch between RWD and AWD. Not tested it yet but I think you can be in One Pedal mode at the same time as AWD, certainly the setting allows you to have that combination.

It may be possible to have OPD selected.
However OPD does not function when AWD (performance mode) is in operation.
PLUS the parking brake does not work either. You have to keep foot on brake pedal during enforced stoppages.
That feature has been brought up with VOLVO as it is not really a very safe idea/system.
In the event you are shunted from behind the vehicle will be catapulted forward and feet come off the pedals.
Collision with anything in front results or enter a hazard without warning.
