Owner Profile Questions or Quarks

I’m a new owner (YEAH!) for less than a week and there are a couple of things that I could use some help with:

1. Even though I save my changes to turn off the lane assist in my owner profile, the lane assist turns on every time I drive. Is there anything else I can do to keep this off (I drive mostly back roads in New England, and this time of year we have to avoid pot holes in the road).

2. My car ALWAYS thinks the other driver (my husband) is driving, even though I was the last one to drive the car. Is this because he borrows the key fob from me, preferring that to the silly card? Do I need to delete his profile and reenter?

Hi and welcome!

1. In Europe, all safety systems have to be reactivated every time you drive, and if you don't want to, you have to turn them off. I found this text in the US manual: "Safety interventions are always enabled". You can find it here: https://www.volvocars.com/en-ca/support ... ist&page=0
2. You can link a key tag to a profile. So to the right person. You cannot assign it to two profiles at the same time. See: https://www.volvocars.com/en-ca/support ... tag&page=0
