Don't think that the digital key only works on iPhone. Earlier the requirements was UWB-support on the phone to have the proximity function and bluetooth for the basic functions similar to the keycard...but if it has changed to ONLY support iPhone I will not be suprised. Unbelievable that there is now updates regarding pre-heating. Why on earth is there no possibilty to change the time, temperature or steering wheel and seat heating?! Would be interesting if anyone from "the Volvo-camp" was a frequent reader on this forum. They could easily get some hints on what's working and what's not in the car.

How strange. After taking their sweet time to roll this out you would have thought there was plenty time to get the text of the update correct. Obviously not. My limited understanding was that it was hardware dependant rather than platform specific. If your phone had uwb capabilities then you were off to the races.

I suppose that the problem is that Volvo has to make agreements and get a validation to use a specific phone wallet, like any credit card issuer.
Registering a card or key on a wallet is not automatically open and granted to everybody.
Apparently at this time Volvo has completed the validation procedure only with Apple.

Although still on 1.4.2, I managed to get a step further today as far as key pairing goes using App Ops. It seems Volvo has done something on the backend to allow the iphone to display a new screen...

Unfortunately, I was not able to find a way to generate the pairing code! All I managed to get to was a QR code that decoded to a 40 character alphanumeric string (which I am assuming must be the private key of the car). I am wondering whether this needs to be hashed or otherwise converted into the 8 digit 'pairing code' which needs to fed into the iphone digital key "wallet".

The EX90 digital key has already the compatibility with the Samsung wallet (only when the pairing succeeds...)

Why the EX30 which was released on the market about one year ago still doesn't even have the Apple wallet compatibility?

Yep. That's what I could read...but I was hopping that words "More vehicules Will follow" was a thinny light of hope wich Will include EX30 not so long. Snif! Just a fool.

Have updated to 1.5.2 but can’t get the digital key to work with my iPhone, anybody else managed it?
