Just been on a journey and the car doesn’t seem to get warm even when I’ve set the temperature to 24 degrees

To get actual warmth you need to set temp to High. Any other setting is very very slow in heating up the cabin. I'd get in the car with -2 C outside, 4-5 C in the car, put it on 25 degrees and it blows cold air.

Since there's no engine to wait after to warm up, I expect the car to blow hot air until it reaches the set temperature but it doesn't work like that with the EX30. Now I just keep it on High and turn it on and off from time to time.

Hi ,Chili! I agree with what gogusrl said, it is quite unintuitive the climate in the car. If i set a temperature of 27C it will blow cold air. I have found that the best setting for colder days is to put the climate setting on the Auto and the temperature on High. After it gets quite warm (a few minutes - really quickly), I set the intensity from High to Low and then turning off the entire climate until it gets a bit chilly again :)

My first car was a Wolseley 1500 manufactured in 1957, it and every car I have had since have had a better heater than the EX30. Even the 1972 MBG V8 and 1977 VW T2 campervan that I still have and are notorious for poor cabin heating are better.
The EX30 has climate control in name only, it doesn’t control the climate at all.

I will start with asking excuse for my Neder-English . I am an Dutch retired doctor .

The air circulation concept is especially inefficient because with all settings there is cold air circulating at feet level , Very incomfortable .
I agree with Geoff , grumpyParkmaster , Chilli and gogusrl .

Hi all , Thank you for your input re-Heating I turned off automatic climate and set it to manual and set the temperature to Hi. What a difference it actually started to heat up quite well . At least I know how to get it warm now .

I had the same problem with it blowing cold air, but then found out through this forum that setting the fan speed to medium or high would solve this. Leaving the fan speed on Low keeps the temperature low for some reason. Since changing to Medium speed with auto setting and 23 or 24 degree temperature - the car now gets nice and warm quickly.
I occasionally need to switch on the A/C to demist the windows but apart from that I leave the climate settings to 23 / Medium / Auto.

That is weird. We set our car to 23 degC. Have it set to Auto and Low and it is lovely and toasty within less than 30- 45 seconds and stays that way, and together with the auto Heated steering wheel in the mornings, my wife is loving this aspect of the car!
As I have mentioned in another thread, this would have been a deal breaker if the cabin heater was poor, as my wife always feels the cold. She often has the seat heaters on, on a sunny day in our previous cars!
But will keep a check on this. There seems to be no rhyme or reason why some things work well in some of our cars but poorly or not at all in others.

It’s weird - I would have said what the initial posters said a few days ago - that even having it on 24c (AC on and on low) blew cold air

But this whole week when it’s been cold and having it set even to 23c (AC on and on low) - after a few mins it’s been very nice and warm? Maybe the car just decides on when to pump the hot air in haha? It has recently dropped to around 5c or so this week in the late evening so maybe the outside temp is used in some way
