Update 1.4.3 released

My car is still on 1.4 - and I've not been notified that 1.4.2 is available

Now I find out it's been withdrawn!

Shows that the cogs are continually whirring at Volvo. Hopefully this will help those who have been experiencing issues.

That doesn’t say 1.4.2 has been withdrawn. 1.4.3 is another update to fix some bugs – we’ll likely get a lot of these.

Yep, 1.4.2. has been withdrawn, have been in contact with Volvo itself about that. It was because too many people were experiencing problems with it and especially that the update kept stuck e.g. at 90%.

So 1.4.3 is replacing 1.4.2? For those who have successfully installed 1.4.2 there may not be much in it then. Obviously some users haven’t been able to install 1.4.2 successfully so the “improvement and bug fix’” may be just to sort out whatever is causing that.

How can it be withdrawn when it is already installed? Surely 1.4.3 is just an update, and I suppose it will include 1.4.2 if it wasn’t previously installed. But it would be fun if CarPlay was deleted, then we’d see the forum light up.

It'd be nice if they could fix the CarPlay notifications "hit and miss" issue where some people get the notifications through on the home screen and others don't.

More aspirationally, it'd also be nice if we could have standard cruise control whilst using a towbar mounted bike carrier!
