The Volvo Public Charging card, is it worth using? Does anyone use it?

I ordered it. Now have everything from Volvo, the car itself, the insurance and the charging card. Thought it was funny. The pass is just like any other pass. You can get a subscription though if you drive a lot, and that might be cheaper, you have to consider for yourself.

I have used it twice, I am on the free plan. It's funny but when I used it, the charger screen was showing a price of 0.79 per kwh. But I wasn't charged on my linked card and I can't see the sessions in my charging history. The car did top up. It's been a month now and they have not hit the payment. I am not aware of any free allowance though. So it must be a mistake in their billing. I still prefer Electroverse as they have discounts from the regular pricing.

I have a Volvo card but have found the prices quoted are always higher than other cards on the free service.

I haven't actually used a public charger yet - only had the car just over two months !!!

Have ordered the card too. Didn’t realise there was a free plan as the mobile app seemed to default to the paid option… have found it now.

Still not sure how to setup google maps on the car to prefer the correct car charging networks. Also have octopus electroverse. But very rare I need to charge away from home.

Having compared the rates via the Volvo card (free subscription) to Electroverse in the UK, it looks like we'd be paying over the odds via the Volvo card so I doubt I'll use it at all.

What I really need now is an "Electroverse" filter on the Google Maps so that it only shows me chargers that are part of that ecosystem.

Yes, would be nice. There is an Electroverse app though, if you haven't found it.

I have the Electroverse app on the car, phone, tablet etc. The car version is pretty poor, hence my wish for it to be a filter on Google maps
