For the past couple of weeks I have been noticing a strange, albeit slight, noise when the car is moving at low speeds, typically between 10 and 25 km/h (6-16 mph).
I honestly can't say that in the first weeks this noise was not heard (car delivered on May 13).
When I start I don't hear anything, then above 10 km/h it can be heard it, but above 25 km/h it disappears.
It is a noise similar to something that makes friction and is best heard with the radio off and smooth road surface. My car is a Core, extended range, single motor
Does this happen to any of you as well?

It does sound like the brakes binding!

Yeah, exactly
It does! Even after a month I still think it's the brake discs/hubs grinding or similar

You'd think it would be a good idea to make mention of this on the screen or somewhere else during the first weeks; "Getting to know your car". Who wouldn't think there's something wrong with their car if you hear this and don't know where it's coming from? Probably would save the dealers a lot of unnecessary calls/visits.
Fair play for being honest!
Yes you can hear the ‘whale noises’ while you’re in the car but to hear what it sounds like step outside the car while it’s in park (not locked).
Can’t describe what it sounds like apart from maybe a distant hymn in a Cathedral many miles away!!
