I am the ‘owner’ yet I cannot enable updates. Added my wife as a user and despite me being the primary user, it let her enable updates another bug I guess.

At least your wife's probably pleased, mine would be!

Updates in software 1.3

Software release date: 15 Apr 2024. You will be notified when you can install this software update, normally within 3 weeks of the software release date.

Car wash mode

You can now activate car wash mode in the Settings menu. Go to Controls, Car modes and Car wash mode to activate it. It deactivates automatically if the car is moving faster than 20 km/h (12 mph). However, to ensure that all car features are available to you, it's recommended to deactivate car wash mode manually before you reach a public road.
Car wash mode helps you get ready for using an automatic car wash by closing the windows, turning the wipers off, folding the wing mirrors in and activating air recirculation.
Improvements and bug fixes

If you’ve set a maximum current limit for charging, the car will now remember this between driving cycles.
The rear view of the parking camera now has more natural colours.
Improvements to the radio, including better reception.
Several bug fixes that do not affect performance or other certified properties.

I'd have to say that's a disappointingly brief schedule of the changes made. Can we not have a detailed listing that says much more precisely what has been changed?

Just installed update 1.3.1 but still no Apple CarPlay & radio sound still gets turned down/off when pressing the brake pedal!

I love the car but the software issues are becoming more and more frustrating

I was browsing online and read that software v1.3.1 had been withdrawn by Volvo but then today I had the notification in the app that 1.3.1 is now available to install. With the comments I have been reading about the download hanging at about 93% I am now a bit hesitant to go ahead. I have been on 1.3 since delivery.

It sounds like your app might be working properly? I’ve never once had a notification from the app to say a new update is available and tells me 1.2.1 is the most up to date software and the car is up to date!

I only triggered the download from the in car display and then it sadly has hung at 93%. But it hasn’t broken any functionality further just still have the same problems as reported with the older software

So your attempt may work!

I get the same constant app notifications saying 1.3.1 is ready to update but can't update.
