Vehicles on the 'scanner' have disappeared

Weird problem - wondered if anyone else had experienced and, if so, what they did about it.

The vehicles that usually show in the road 'scanner' at the top of the big screen disappeared yesterday and haven't come back. The lane markings still show, and pilot assist still seems to work fine (both the lane-keep and adaptive cruise functions). It's just that it no longer shows vehicles in the same or adjacent lanes.

Anyone had this? Anyone successfully fixed this? Is it a software issue or a camera issue? Thanks for any help!

You’ll have accidentally turned off that view. Press the shortcut button on the steering wheel will almost certainly get it back.

Cheers. Which button? The view itself hasn't changed. Literally the only thing that have disappeared are the other vehicles. The lanes, my car and the green line when the pilot assist is active - they are all in the normal place.

I noticed today I wasn't seeing vehicles coming towards me. Can't remember whether I used to.

It has only ever shown vehicles travelling in the same direction, never approaching vehicles.

I have also noticed that it cannot show 2 cyclists beside each other, it can identify and show one, but not both (unless they are in different traffic queues)

It also had difficulty detecting a cyclist or motor-cyclist behind a stationary car in a queue, it just detects the car in front of them.

I think you may be in ‘calm’ view mode. If your shortcut button on the steering wheel is set for this then this will toggle between the two types of view for the top section of the screen. If it has been set to another function the calm view button is accessed from the shortcut menu. Get to this by pressing the 4g symbol on the main display.

Ah yeah, it isn't that I've switched to 'calm mode'. I'm in the default view, with everything displaying as normal (including the icon for my car and the lanes). It's just that it isn't picking up or displaying ANY other vehicles at all.

That’s interesting (cheers for the photo, super useful). Can you go to the Car icon, then status? Is it picking up any faults?

interesting factoid - the screen for RHS is flipped from LHS. in north america the wiper icon is on the right, and the speed/gear display is on the left.

interesting that they flipped it.
