Welcome to this forum.
It's not a common problem.

Did you have any luck on this one.
I got into mine this morning and the volume control is not working on steering wheel or on the slider on the dash controls.
Interestingly it seems locked to different media types. Bluetooth is loud, Radio is muted, Amazon music is at a different level... all cannot be changed.
Anyone else had this.. thinking I may have to do a reset?

Had this very issue on a recent trip across UK. A quick reboot of the infotainment restored functionality.
Some problem here, with few adds on.
Today I had a weird and a bit scary problem. After a charge on a Tesla, suddenly when the audio volume on screen or in stewring wheel buttons, didn't work. You could go high or low, it moves, but it didn't affect the sound at all. It always sounded the same except if you lowered it to 0. That then it's mute. It did so with Spotify, with TuneIn connected to the internet and even using the Bluetooth link of the mobile. He didn't do anything. After a while, the AutoPilot controls also stopped working. I didn't get up or down the speed, I didn't switch between Autopilot modes (single speed or automatic guidance). Then he suddenly went to black and restarted. The autopilot has started to go well, but the volume still didn't work. Eventually I stopped. I reset it with the buttons and then everything has recovered.
I'm not to criticize for free, but this seems a bit worrying. It feels like the SOC or OS or whatever, it has some ease of getting saturated if you have to process too many functions and I guess Autopilot requires a lot of resources
