Driver monitoring camera fault

Just had the following message pop up saying:

“Driver monitoring camera fault. Service required.”

Anyone else have this? I wonder if it’s due to heat as my car was parked in direct sunlight all day and the unit got very hot… Will see if the issue is still there in the morning or a temporary bug…

Maybe rebooting the display could solve the problem.

I rebooted the display. Not happened again.

My Dealers top Techie recommends a reboot once a week.

Bit like restarting your computer.

i got the same problem! reboot the screen worked

I got a similar message once, don't remember if it was the same. But it was some camera not working. Just had a brainwave and cleared the windscreen. The message went away at once. Might help.

I can't seem to find 'screen reboot' in the ops manual. Would one of you kindly remind me of the button presses to achieve this? Ta.

I have just had the same issue; how do you reboot the screen? I tried the "turn off car" and then back on no difference.

The link posted earlier says:
To restart the display, the car must be at a standstill with the parking brake applied.
Simultaneously press and hold the ‘decrease set speed’ and ‘decrease volume’ buttons on the steering wheel until the display changes.
The display restarts.
