No Connection

Faults and Technical chat for the Volvo EX30

Hey everyone,

Everything was working fine (too good to be true) and for the last couple of days there is no connection in the car.

All internet related services obvs not working, No "hey Google" no Music, No Maps, no Apps.

Had a look in the setting but couldn't find anything related to data.

Anyone know if there is anything I can do to troubleshoot it?

Phone my Volvo dealer and they said it's a knows problem that Volvo is trying to fix mostly down to Vodafone.

Is anyone aware of this or they were just trying to fob me off? XD

I currently have no connection problems, but I'm in Italy and also don't know if here the used mobile carrier is Vodafone or another one.

Ya I am aware of it aswell, same here in Spain, have another post about it.
Same response as you "Volvo is trying to fix it".

Not sure if this will work for everyone having the issue.

But just reboot the system pressing the 2 down buttons on the steering wheel for 15 seconds and now the connection is back.

For me this the connection is back working at the moment so it seems to be stable.
The subscription has disappeared but the internet still works.

Anyone know if that subscription is supposed to be there or not?

Mine has never been there, and my internet has always worked

For me too, after various attempts at the service and "magically" the return of both the internet connection and the presence of data in the app, I noticed that if before I had the internet subscription in the app it has now disappeared... but at least for the everything is working now...

Hi I’m in Italy right now as well and as of yesterday no google maps. Have 5 bars and sign of LTE or 5G , so looks as of the car makes connection but nothing on maps or any other app. Reset display I tried 2 times but no nothing. Any other suggestions as only “to wait” thanks
