Yes mine did that to, but just waited a few days and the app showed 1.3.1

Had similar issue “stuck at 93%” for 3 days.

My iPhone had been restarted following iOS update and the ex30 app had disabled the OTA update. I checked update status in the car, still stuck a 93%, then I enabled OTA within the app followed by reloading software status in the car. All mention of 1.3.1 has gone.

Waiting to see what happens as to whether update is reloaded - probably end up having to try and contact dealer (that itself is a major quest)

I'm also stuck at 93% downloading in the car. App shows nothing about update, either Android or iPhone.
Will wait til tomorrow then call dealer, 1.3.1 note in the car says to contact dealer if can't update.

Yep, I did that and the dealer said that I needed to contact Volvo assist about any issues with OTA issues. Got an email response from Volvo assist today which says……. contact your dealer if there are issues with update

Yeh, the note in the car even has a reference code (R10273) to pass to the dealer and says contact dealer, not Volvo.

I think you're better off bringing it to a Volvo dealer to get it upgraded as opposed to trusting the OVA system until that system is more stable.
Too many people reporting issues with OVA, some don't get it at all, alot of those who do have issues. Not heard of anyone having it installed via the dealer that had any significant issues so far.
Since Volvo cover the cost of these upgrades in most scenarios little reason not to unless you happen to not be near one.

Thanks for the info - very useful. I rebooted my phone and loaded the EX30 app which had disabled the OTA update (as you found). So I enabled the OTA update and then went to the car and looked in software updates. My 91% had become 92% and then proceeded all the way to 100%. Up came the installation prompt, which I ok'd. After a couple of mins it told me to lock the car and come back in 28 mins. Over an hour later and nothing has happened, but at least the '1.3.1 downloading' line has now gone. The EX30 app notifications tell me that 1.3.1 is ready for installation, but nothing in the car confirms this. So, still on 1.2.1 unless something magically happens in the next day or so.

Interesting! Thanks to the guys above - I am in process of having the same experience - although the only difference has been my app didn’t seem to reset to disable and re-enable the OTA updates (they stayed enabled), however I am in the car now and the software had finally got moving for the first time since it came out from 93% to currently 97% so fingers crossed. Restarting the phone does seem to have been the key?

Received the notification on the app that the v. 1.3.1 was ready to update.
Confirmed and waited about 20 min.
App and display confirm update was successful to v. 1.3.1

Coming from 1.3
Wifi 5GHz connection to my house network.

P.S. A display restart was necessary because the soft buttons were behaving inconsistently, particularly the home button became hidden in some circumstances.
After the restart everything is apparently OK.
