STILL RANDOMLY WILL NOT UNLOCK WITH FOB

Anyone got any help advice with this one.

BONKERS driving me crazy now tugging away at the door handle or touching the fob on door jamb.

Anyone done a rest or something.

People have reported problems but there's no report of a "solution".

I'd have to say the one I test drove seemed to work perfectly.

You can slide a finger leftwards over the little slot in the driver's handle to unlock, or cover the slot fully to lock, as a manual way that works most of the time if the fob does nt!

I have a Polestar - don't yet have the EX30 - but the intermittent fob success happens with me as well. In my case it is due to the sensitivity of the radio signal between the car and the fob. I find if I have the fob too close to the handle, it doesn't work, and if it's too far, or blocked by my body, it doesn't work. There's a goldilocks distance in my case.

I have been doing the same previous xc40 was so responsive to unlocking. Finding I have to be patient with hand behind the handle to unlock … cover the full slot to lock. Not very slick!

I’m assuming you’ve turned on the proximity setting? I had this issue to begin with but now seems to be working ok.

Needs Volvo name facing out and the right way up. With Volvo name upside down, won't work.
