The Tesla does the same thing. If I watch the grey "direction" lines in front of the car animation I can see the Tesla's point - it does look like I'm going to clip the car in the curve. Really annoyed me when the Tesla itself is driving - I mean geez, don't yell at me *you're* the one driving.

It's gotten better, I expect the ex30 to also get better

Self braking on straight roads as already mentioned but another one is when it decides to brake mid corner because it thinks I’m going too fast by doing 40mph around a downhill corner that then turns slightly uphill. It’s in a 50mph zone, and I could see through the corner, however I can’t think of any reason other than the sensors see the road as it starts to climb (gets closer) as an object to avoid. Annoying and dangerous
And what about braking on curves when you're driving "normally," meaning without AutoPilot? I know other brands do it with AutoPilot active, and I don't mind that, probably is a nice security feature, but doing it while driving normally can be really annoying, even more so in a car that "shoots off" in a flash... or maybe that's why.

AutoPilot wasn't engaged when my car did the emergency braking and that is what is most worrying - having a car with a mind of it's own!
Cheers!
