Re: Update 1.5 - notes released 6/12/24
Very good point. Maybe it is to let us see if the charger is giving us the power we expect it to, or so we can watch the power being delivered drop as we progress along the charging curve - so we can decide it is time to disconnect and get back on the road. If it was charge delivered in kWh, that wo...

Re: Update 1.5 - notes released 6/12/24
I assumed it meant that the state of charge (battery level) will be shown as a percentage (which is what already happens), and now that the rate that the battery is being charged at will be shown in kW. This is convincing and will likely be the way you said, but nonetheless the release notes are mi...

Re: Update 1.5 - notes released 6/12/24
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what does this mean? While charging, the battery level is shown in both kW and as a percentage. A. It means that battery level will be shown in kWh B. It means that charging speed will be shown in kW Somehow it seems to me that either the team doing the GUI o...

Re: Update 1.5 - notes released 6/12/24
Another thought. Probably a controversial one that will incur the wrath of some on this forum. I have owned 10 or 11 cars in my life. Up until this one, every one was made in a factory and then delivered to a purchaser. Once delivered it remained the same until it was scrapped (unless it was discove...

It must just have been coincidence that I got my notification when I parked.

Re: SatNav - What did I do wrong?
Remember, if the SatNav plays up, its not the EX30 that's giving duff info and weird routing, its Google. The SatNav is completly at the mercy of Google. In my last car I had the luxury of having Android Auto installed (unlike the EX30 which uses the similarly named but completely different Android ...

Re: Battery and Range Indicator
I too find dynamic range and remaining charge very accurate.
After a long journey 140 miles (225km) the remaining charge is always within 2% of what was predicted at the start of the journey.

Re: EX30 app keeps logging off
I got 1.7 on the app yesterday. It looks just the same as before except for the layout of the notifications page. One thing had changed - and it is a big change: Before, every time (and I do mean EVERY time) I opened the app it did not show the car's data (mileage, state of charge, range etc.). Ever...

Re: No 5G support in Australia
For the information of those Australian customers who can't access 5G - you are not alone. I live in the UK - but 5G is not available in my area either (actually, it is on some phone networks - but not on Volvo's UK provider, Vodafone). If I drive 35 miles (55km) to the nearest large city to my home...
