FYI It always appeared on my second car that one wheel trim was slightly more flush than the other 3. Grabbed one of the 3 by the slots in it and with only a gentle pull popped it off [NOTED NO locking wheel nuts!!!] AHHH putting it back on was the trouble. Fist a round metal ring was badly aligned...
