General Question on Volvo Support

Evening all,
whilst we are posting issues on the forum relating to our EX30's; how are Volvo Support being informed of these?

I initially contacted the local dealer with the radio niggles and the response after 1 week was "what's the mileage?" Since then - nothing, not even a call back.

Any comments guidance v much appreciated.

That's a very good question! I don't know the answer but it would be nice if the software engineers were reading about the problems that are likely to make or break the car's uptake and doing something about it.

Since before I found the Forum I had dozens of questions for VOLVO support.
Bearing in mind it is staffed by some young persons who do not even drive!
Support is therefore very disjointed or spasmodic.
Mostly it gets pushed to technical.
THEN it's about 6 working days to reply.
THEN its contact the dealer we do not know.
THEN I ended up researching on google myself and telling THEM

ALL very very SAD

The last thinG I did was copy off the PROBLEMETTES on here adding a few more of my own which are also now common knowledge. I got a sincere thank you but no replies yet.

Thanks for this. I'll try the Volvo support route since the dealer is worse than useless. I'll try to keep all posted on any info I glean from support.

I read on a Dutch forum, that there is a dedicated international Facebook page about the EX30 in which Volvo participates. Everything is discussed there, but they don't get any further than we are working on it.

Just can't find the link anymore. Not on Facebook myself. But at least Volvo knows about the issues.

Yes - I've been on that forum nearly since its inception - it's not just one in which Volvo "participates" - it was set up by Volvo themselves. it's very active and Volvo has answered a lot of queries. However they sometimes go quiet...
